One DB but multible domain IP's - HOW?

Post by Eiler »

Im having a big problem!
One DB, but multible phpbb-installs on seperate domains and domain-IP's - each reaching the same forum-db, but staying at the domain without crashing or redirecting on login.

I know I could just redirect the url's, but since we are all nerds here, Im hoping someone can give some solid info. I want the same forum showing up in different domains, each with individual header/footer layout.

I read article 55, but dont believe it applies..

Anyone???
(This subject has been posted several times without solution)

If your other forums are from different servers/host you must go into the primary server's control panel and set the MySQL data retrieval allowance to the IPs of the other servers.
